San Francisco, CA (August 13, 2007) -- " LegalMatch, the nation's premiere online legal matching service, put forth a final decision today regarding its 2006 Lawyer of the Year Awards, selecting immigration attorney Richard Kolomejec as their overall winner. The attorney-client matching service is also proud to honor four other attorneys for their commendable work in the following fields of law: Family; Wills, Trusts, and Estates; Employment; and Business.
The Lawyer of the Year Awards were developed in 2005 as a means of acknowledging and celebrating the achievements of exemplary LegalMatch attorneys. Nominations are based on a number of qualifying factors, including LegalMatch consumer rating, community contributions, legal achievements, and participation as a LegalMatch member attorney. From thousands of LegalMatch attorney users, five were chosen that best represent: these legal categories:

- Wills, Trusts, and Estates: David Locks (Chicago, IL)
- Employment Law: Crystal James (Douglasville, GA)

Richard Kolomejec will be honored as 2006's official Lawyer of the Year--a recognition of his tireless work in immigration law. The son of immigrant parents, Kolomejec has invested countless hours helping people gain citizenship in the United States. "Immigration law is always a success story," says the SF-based lawyer, "I'm a very happy attorney." But with a willingness to share free legal advice, and rates that are intentionally kept as low as those of entry-level lawyers, it's hardly surprising that Kolomejec has become a success.
A LegalMatch member since 2003, Kolomejec was quick to point out why he has stuck with the service. "I don't get bothered with cases I don't want," he says, referring to his preference for marriage-based immigration cases, "LegalMatch is my only filtered legal service."
LegalMatch was founded as an alternative client acquisition channel for the small-firm attorneys and solo practitioners who were growing increasingly unhappy with less productive acquisition channels, such as the Yellow Pages.
