LEGALMATCH LAUNCHES NEW FINANCIAL SERVICES GROUP

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (March 8, 2005)—LegalMatch, America's leading online attorney/client matching service, announced today the debut of its Financial Services Group, which will provide a series of offerings that can help small law firms and solo practitioners with the business of law and to grow their practices.

The primary function of LegalMatch Financial Services will be to assist small law firms to obtain credit for their practice.

"After speaking with many attorneys, it became apparent that small firms and solo practitioners have a very hard time locating a lender interested in financing their law practices. I think it has to do with the fact that these are small business loans, and that the practice of law is both complex and unique to each attorney - so, lenders just back away. We made the effort to find good lenders that are actually interested in making small business loans to attorneys, and set up our assistance program to make it easy for attorneys to get the right credit facility to grow their law practice," said Jeffrey Gananian, Director of the Group.

The Group will also assist law firms in setting up reasonably priced merchant accounts so that attorneys can receive credit card payments from clients, thereby making financial operations easier and more manageable for both attorney and client.

"We found that many small firms and solo practitioners either do not take credit cards at all or, if they do have the equipment and the account, they stopped using it long ago, as the fees and rates crept higher and higher after they joined. We set out to make it easy to take credit cards, and to establish rates and fees that were consistently low and competitive. We actually did this to help our prospective client users, because we found that many of our clients want a variety of payment options, especially credit cards," added Gananian.
